The world around us is changing. Demand for food is growing due to population growth, emerging economies are demanding more meat in their diet which requires greater land use than vegetarian diets, climate change is a reality, weather patterns are likely to become more unpredictable and we are starting to see the results of unsustainable agricultural practices which are rendering land unproductive. All of this puts increasing pressure on existing pastoral land, particularly in a fragile landscape like that experienced in much of Australia.

Agricom is a specialist land development company which was set up to respond to these challenges.

We work with clients to improve the sustainability, carrying capacity and drought resistance of their land.

We also work with investors to identify degraded land for purchase with the aim of rejuvenating this land and generating superior capital gains for those investors over a 3-5 year timeframe.

We believe that despite short term weather challenges, agricultural land and soft commodities is the next area to boom over the next 10 years and that we have a moral obligation to help improve the country’s productive capacity.
